Bridge Climb
Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge on a Bridge Climb experience, for a stunning 360-degree view of the harbour city. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is nicknamed “The Coat hanger” because of its arch-based design. The Bridge is the widest long-span bridge and tallest steel arch bridge in the world. Enjoy the view!
Bondi Beach
Stroll along the famous Bondi to Bronte coastal walk, taking in the spectacular views of beaches, parks and carvings by the local Indigenous people. Sydney’s popular cliff top coastal Bondi to Coogee walk runs 6 kilometres and takes about 2 hours to complete.
Sydney Opera House
House for a behind-the-scenes look at this World Heritage-listed marvel or enjoy a star-studded performance. 15,500 light bulbs are changed every year at the Sydney Opera House. See if you can spot a burnt out one while you’re there. The Grand Organ in the Opera is the largest mechanical tracker-action pipe organ in the world with 10,154 pipes and took 10 years to build.
Taronga Park Zoo
See Australia’s native animals as well as rare and endangered species from around the world at Taronga Zoo, positioned right on the harbour. Taronga Zoo ferry service from Circular Quay takes approximately 12 minutes. Of course our as native wildlife will be on show too koalas, kangaroos, echidnas and frilled neck lizards.
Shopping
Shop up a storm – from luxury labels and leading department stores in the CBD, to the beachside weekend markets for trinkets and emerging designers, the designer outlets or Paddy’s Markets for souvenirs and bargains, there’s something for everyone. The Queen Victoria Building, constructed between 1893 and 1898, was named to commemorate the Queen of England’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
Sea Plane
Take a seaplane flight to lunch and admire the city’s stunning harbour and the awe-inspiring sandstone cliffs along the coastline, from the air. Sydney has the deepest natural harbour in the world with 504,000 megalitres of water.
Royal Botanic Gardens
Experience a guided walking tour of the Royal Botanic Gardens, where the original inhabitants of Sydney gathered ingredients for food and medicine. An abundance of birdlife, incredible artistic installations, beautifully manicured gardens and canopies of plant life. Sydney’s exquisitely landscaped gardens and parks represent the community of our magnificent city home.
